Discover the marine world

Antongil Bay is one of those places which is full of secrets and where time disappears. When walking the coastal trails, you will catch yourself dreaming like an explorer from the 16th century. Take some time to sit on a rock in Tampolo and admire the marvelous green blue waters of the bay. You may even have the chance to observe the amorous advances of humpback whales just a few hundred meters from the golden shores. Unlike the 16th century explorers, you can grab a mask and snorkel and enjoy the marvels of the marine universe. Three marine parks preserve untouched reefs and various colorful fauna. If you enjoy boating, take a ride along this spectacular coast where the forest tumbles down to the sea. You may even come across a pod of dolphins or whales.
