Spike NLOS was designed in conjunction with Lockheed Martin in the US and is primarily used by the US Armed forces. What makes Spike NLOS a dynamic system is that it is useful on naval and land platforms like armored vehicles, as well as in the air. So far so good, it has been validated by the US Army and is used as a secondary long range weapon on their AH-64 Apache invasion helicopters. It also has what is called a Future Vertical modernized loft which makes it easy for planners and designers to modify the design in the future should the need arise.

Spike NLOS helps fighters stay out of the range of enemy fire while launching attacks that are extremely accurate. Depending on their distance from the target, the intended targets will be reached in a matter of seconds or minutes such as the power of this device. This weapon can be operated with ease during the day and at night and across a wide range of targets. Furthermore, its multi-purpose warhead and spectral seeker allow it to outmatch enemy gunfire while minimizing collateral damage to your unit or other active and passive environments.

Of all the systems in the Spike Missile class, Spike NLOS remains one of the most flexible and versatile hardware. RAFAEL works on the Spike NLOS in close partnership with Lockheed Martin, a global security and aerospace firm based in Maryland. Lockheed Martin is involved in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology products, systems and services.
